I’m Bringing Hard Back!
Some people are never alone with a good book nearby. Personally, I prefer the interaction of a camera. My current favorite? The one that I have with me.
While I adore my digital, I’ll never be comfortable relying on electronic storage for my Kodak moments. (I’ve heard too many horror stories of crashed disc drives and stolen cameras with new baby pictures not yet printed).
I’m also a self-proclaimed “Desperate Scrapbooker,” and enjoy chronicling (and embellishing) my own true stories. What can I say; I’m just a hard-copy kinda girl.
I usually end up with duplicate prints of my favorite shots, so I repurpose the extras into photo note cards (you can buy them on Etsy).
Each one is an original photograph, taken by me, mounted onto high quality embossed card stock, and signed on the front.
Unlike other blank photo note cards, I also include a “suggested sentiment” with each design, free for you to pen in your own hand, if you wish.
I believe a hand written sentiment will always be light years ahead of electronic transmissions, because you can’t save a text message in a keepsake box, or display an e-card on a coffee table!
So pick a card (any card), grab a pen, slap on a stamp, and let someone know how much you care — in writing. Help me bring hard back!
If you believe in the law of attraction, (as I do), don’t be surprised if you receive something in return — in your “snail mail” box.
